Gemma Bulos is an multi-award-winning global entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, filmmaker, 2x Amazon Best Selling Author, and founder of three social enterprises across three continents. With hundreds of talks delivered in 36 countries, including 3 TEDx Talks, Gemma has graced prestigious stages such as the United Nations, Women Deliver, and the U.S. Congress. She has shared platforms with Nobel Peace Laureates and world leaders, inspiring audiences worldwide.
As an educator, Gemma taught Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford University and has coached hundreds of social impact start-up founders, government ministers, mayors, and journalists globally, to become transformational leaders. Her humanitarian efforts have garnered recognition from esteemed institutions like the World Economic Forum, United Nations, and Ernst Young.
Gemma’s transformative journey began with the mobilization of the unprecedented global peace movement, the Million Voice Choir, in response to the tragedy of September 11. Her original song, “We Rise,” resonated with tens of thousands of individuals across 60 countries during the UN International Peace Day.
Today, Gemma leverages her extensive experience and expertise as the Executive Director/Founder of She Builds Power empowering women in Sub-Saharan Africa to provide water and food security to their communities. She also serves as an executive coach for impact leaders and founders to maximize their impact, many going on to win upwards of $1,000,000 in competitions.
